Volunteer Hours

 

 

 

 

 

1.       NET: One hour minimum which includes both the directed and post net together ACS Member must personally check-in on the Net to claim ANY hours for the month.

2.       TRAINING: Hour for hour, must be approved training events or courses and attend with a copy of one certificate sent to Records Administrator for those courses which issue certificates.

3.        DRILLS: Hour for hour, must be approved drills and attend.

4.        ACTIVATION: Hour for hour, one hour minimum and must participate in the activation.

5.        MEETING: Hour for hour, must be an approved meeting and must attend the meeting.

6.       EQUIPMENT: Hour for hour. Installation & maintenance of ACS equipment at city/department facilities. Does not include personal radio maintenance.

7.       STAFF: Hour for hour. Activities to carry out the duties of BCUL and above.
 
NOTE: Travel time is covered hour for hour.
 
NOTE:  All credit for hours logged is subject to approval by the   member's BCUL, DCUL and staff. Members must sign in on provided rosters for specific events to claim credit for all activities except Nets.
 
NOTE: The intent of collecting hours by ACS members is to document work provided to the City and ACS program by volunteers of ACS and training received by ACS members.
 
NOTE:  Please only report to ACS Records Administrator your ACS hours. If you are volunteering for other groups, such as CERT or any other, report those to the appropriate person in that group.
